Our Programs

The ways we learn & serve together.

Sunday School

Our Children’s Sunday School program encourages spiritual growth and discovery using materials from a variety of sources from Mennonite Church Canada, Mennonite Central Committee and Progressive Christianity, amongst others. We seek to share God’s gift of love by serving our local and global communities by promoting social and ethical stewardship.’

Our Adult program is fairly informal in structure and highly interactive. We use books on faith formation & theology, videos, and Bible study in order to ask both the big and small questions of faith and what it means to live out our faith in the 21st century. Everyone is welcome!

Ladies fellowship

We meet every Wednesday, weather permitting, from October to April at 9:30am to 2:00pm. We have a lunch break with devotions & sharing. And while we knot, we share our stories, we laugh, and learn more about the world around us. The church funds us as we are able to buy our fill & flannel which is purchased at MCC material aid. We are thankful for all the top that are donated. We “knot” from 90 – 100 blankets each year! We hope that these comforters will fill the need to those that have none! With love, the Knotters

Young adults

The Young Adult group at Glenlea is a small but tight knit group. The group is passionate about outreach, having lots of laughs, and learning to share with each other in new and deeper ways. Our bi-weekly activities are diverse and include; bake-offs, Book studies, Winnipeg Jets cheering, volunteering at Siloam or just playing games. These connections are growing and there is always room for one more at our table! We are open to anyone 18-30 joining us, whether it’s occasionally or all the time; come when you can. Contact the pastor at Glenlea to find out more information.
